COVID-19 Policies

We take pride in the fact that we always go above and beyond to ensure the health and safety of our staff and clients. With this in mind, we’ve implemented the following COVID rules and procedures within our studios:

  • Limited Capacity. Each studio location has a limited capacity based upon that locations size and ventilation.

  • Distancing. Because we have limited capacity, everyone is able to maintain safe distancing.

  • Employee Facemasks Required! All our staff wear medical grade masks to ensure everyone stays safe and protected.

  • Clean Air. We’ve installed Medical Grade air scrubbers at all locations in conjunction with HEPA filters to ensure the air is regularly turned-over.

  • Disinfected. We’ve always been great with how we clean between clients, but now we finally get to tell you how we’re exceptionally diligent ensuring all surfaces in our procedure areas between clients are cleaned with hospital-grade, high-level disinfectant wipes.

  • Sanitizing Stations. At every entrance a hand sanitizing station has been placed for everyone to sanitize their hands each time they enter the building.

Our COVID Story

When COVID first hit there were other studios who waited for the government to force them to close. We were the first studios to close, voluntarily. We simply didn’t have enough information to know if we could continue to do our job safely, without unnecessarily risking our staff or the public’s health. Many studios were secretly open during lock-down or were the first to reopen, even when the rules and requirements for doing so were not yet clear. We waited patiently to ensure we had the necessary equipment, training, supplies, and information to safely reopen. Only once our staff felt safe and educated did we reopen.

It was scary for all of us! When we closed, we paid our staff’s wages for the rest of their scheduled pay period, as well as cashing them out for all of their accrued vacation pay. We continued to pay 100% of their health insurance for six months after closing. After three months of closure, we hired them all back and reissued their accrued PTO, bonused our mangers, as well as paid all staff an extra hourly for the first two months back while we deep cleaned our studios and trained the staff on new procedures. Once we reopened, we continued to offer CARES Act or similar COVID leave pay if there was any COVID related circumstances for as long as these programs were available. Once vaccines became available, we couldn’t have been prouder that our staff didn’t have to be asked to get vaccines, they insisted on it!

As we continue to navigate these trying times the health and safety of our staff and clients remains our number one priority!
